What are the benefits of this khimar?

Everyday Comfort: The medium length offers a balance between coverage and ease of movement, making it perfect for both daily wear and outings.

Washing: Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners. If using a machine, place the khimar in a laundry bag and select a gentle cycle.

Drying: Do not wring. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight.

Ironing / Steaming: Use a steamer for best results. If ironing, use the lowest heat setting and place a cloth between the fabric and the iron.

Storage: Hang the khimar to maintain its shape and avoid contact with rough fabrics or zippers to prevent snagging.

Note: This khimar should be paired with an underscarf to ensure the neck and hair remain fully covered. The head tie is elasticated, similar to the Bahri and Aswan Khimar. This can be worn under the chin or under your hair at the back.
