Washing: Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners. If using a machine, place the abaya in a laundry bag and select a gentle cycle.

Drying: Do not wring. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight.

Ironing / Steaming: Use a steamer for best results. If ironing, use the lowest heat setting and place a cloth between the fabric and the iron.

Storage: Hang the abaya to maintain its shape and avoid contact with rough fabrics or zippers to prevent snagging.
